EMpact Program

MALE SUPPORT CLASS TO AID IN EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT REGARDING DOMESTIC ABUSE WITH A MINIMUM OF 26 WEEKS

Women’s support class to aid in education and empowerment regarding domestic abuse with a minimum of 26 weeks. Councilors teach from the Self Love Workbook and go over how to recognize the signs of domestic abuse, taking courageous steps to remove from domestic abuse and building back self-love and care for oneself. Class is populated by women only.

Recovery Coach

MUST BE SOBER FOR 1-YEAR PRIOR TO JOINING AS A RECOVERY COACH & COMPLETE RECOVERY COACH TRAINING WHICH IS 8 MONTHS

Councilors use many textbooks especially the Addiction Recovery Skills Workbook to balance the classes. This class is for all who are sober from addiction for at least 1-year and will have many roles. Recovery coaches play a invaluable role for those seeking to overcome compulsive, destructive behaviors. Recovery coaches assist clients when making healthy life choices especially when the urge to relapse is very real. Here, you are similar to a “Life Coach” in a sense as you become a mentor on so many levels. We urge all recovery coaches to find your niche in what you love and present it to all.

COURSE IS 6 MO. TO 1-YEAR WITH WEEKLY CLASSES

Clinicians teach from New Harbinger material that is interactive and requires participation for each client. We assist with identifying triggers, congenital consequences of the behavior and assist with life skills to curb the violent behavior.
